So I am about to install Bon Voyage...
But I am afraid to do it
And at the same time I am eager to do it. Anything I should know before installing it? |

Yes, look for Shorty's post on how to avoid SecuROM.
Also get the patch from the Maxis site. |

You download the patched crack and the patch, install the game, install the patch, install the crack, to be exact.

That's it. Easy does it. Do this strictly on an empty Downloads folder. NO HACKS or CUSTOM content AT ALL. Then add only 1 or 2 modifications at a time. Recolours, meshes etc, not a problem. Hacks and game behaviour changes can really break your brain to find, in a Downloads folder of over 7 Gb in size and more thousands of files than fingers to count them on. What can possibly go wrong you ask? At one time I had every car pool vehicle trying to turn up for a work pick up, at a residential lot where nobody had a job. Want some fun. Download the "Hotrod" from SimTech2. And then watch what happens when you send a sim for a drive. LOL. Do as I say, not, as I did. |

Sorry about that, I seem to have lost him too.
He made a big bunch of SoCal Harley Choppers and hot rods, including the Dukes of Hazard's rebel Dodge. The proper one, not the new rubbish movie. A Sandcrab dune buggy, a Harley trike. Lots of gasoline alley stuff, including an engine on a stand, that gives skill points for mechanical work. Work benches, paint shop benches, grinders and other work shop equipment. And I have most of it if some body wants to ask. All I need now, is the new EP, patched and fixed by EA\Maxis first, of course. |

I've got an engine on a stand, let me see who allegedly made it...
Hm, not seeing it, but I know I downloaded it! |

There are two that I know of.
One is a skill builder, the other is just deco. I think the skill builder is a Dr Pixel mod. Hmm, when is this application of yours ready for alpha testing? I seem to need a bit more time to throw stuff out of the way in the archive. Not even the dud downloads have been deleted, everything I have downloaded since the base game release is still at hand. Somewhere. Archived on hard disk, and written to DVD and CD. Lotsabytes of data. Yep, I know it's in there somewhere. Cos it's in Greybeard's home, in the garage. With the vehicle collection. Both of them. The skill builder engine is also in several recolours to represent Ford, GM, Chrysler etc. |

Yep, I think it is Dr Pixel. All his stuff (or most of) is free now anyhow, since he's not a Featured Artist at TSR anymore.
