Regrettably, no. Although I still get to see the fireworks show on the strip.

TPBM will host a New Year's Eve party.

Nope. Since all my friends either moved away or had kiddies, midnight is too far past everyone's bedtime or my house is waaay to far to go for champers.

TPBM usually spends a quiet New Year's Eve at home.

Yep. Maybe I'll get wild and crazy and make a dessert this year.

TPBM has made pumpkin cheesecake.

Not that particular recipe, but a similar one with pecans in the crust and a cinnamon whipped cream topping.

TPBM is allergic to apples.

(That one sounds yummy... got a link?)

Nope, I love apples and they love me.

TPBM likes pears.

Yup, pears are good! I think I like them better than apples if I can catch them right at the moment of perfect ripeness.

The person below me enjoys Waldorf salad.

Uh...now my lack of knowledge about fine crusine is made apparent...what's waldorf salad??

TPBM likes a spicy taco salad.

Waldorf Salad was invented at the Waldorf Hotel, and contains apples.

Yes, I like taco salad, especially in a tortilla bowl.

TPBM like chili in a bread bowl.

I don't think I've ever had chili in a bread bowl but it sounds good. I like the soup in a bread bowl that they serve at Quizno's.

The person below me likes to build magnificent salads.

I think Quizno's has chili in a bread bowl too.

No, my salads are lettuce and dressing with a few other veggies if we have them.

TPBM likes veggie trays.

Sure do!

TPBM will make up or serve a veggie tray before the new year.

Nope, we're still demolishing the one from the m-i-l's Hannaka party.

TPBM will make cheesecake before the end of the year.

I'm relatively sure I will be asked to make White Chocolate Hazelnut Cheesecake by a friend of mine. Unless I can dazzle her with cookies.

TPBM is trying out a new cookie recipe this year.

I will if Somebody Around Here makes cookies from a new recipe.

The person below me knows the names of all of Santa's reindeer.

Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donder and Blitzen. And sometimes Rudolf. Which is how I know the reindeer without using Google, lol.

TPBM went to a mall today.

Not yet, but I probably will.

TPBM has more than one present left to buy.

Oh yes, nothing like being the last minute shopper that I am!

TPBM is looking forward to the after Christmas sales.

No, it'll be a worse slaughter than the Black Friday sales.

TPBM intends to stay home on Boxing Day.

Not being much of a shopping buff, I expect that I will stay home on the day after Christmas.

The person below me has outdoor lights this year.

This and every year for quite a while now. It just doesn't seem right to confine the festivities to the indoors.

TPBM is still decorating.
