Default SimPose ain't dead!

http://www.pygott.demon.co.uk/simpose/

Still has the old Sims 1 version and a newer version for Sims 2.

Same person also does 3D modeling and has other utilities on this page: http://www.pygott.demon.co.uk/model.htm Not sure if they're usable for Sims 2 or not, but they look cool!

(Where's Grandma to tell us what these cool tools do?!!!!!!!!!!)

Yup. Unfortunately, getting characters into the Sims 2 verison is complicated. First you have to use SimPE to extract the meshes and textures.

So... I have never tried it.

Kind of makes sense... why write a whole resource parser when simpe can do it? I bet once you get the meshes out of the game, it's tons easier to test fit than BodyShop. I hate you can't look up a Sim's skirt in BodyShop.... In this proggie, you sit 'em down and you're looking up the skirt!

I'm remembering all the times we had to pass around zip files because there wasn't anywhere to get the darn proggie!

I think that's one of the great advantages to taking a break for a while. When you get back, there's lots of new stuff!
