What's up with InSim? - Page 7

Aha! At about 8:00 AM this morning I suddenly started getting that old "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page" error, so I looked closer at it. It's a DNS error!

It could be that Insim has been the victim of a DNS attack for quite some time now. Or maybe their web host's DNS tables are messed up.

More news: Additional data collection revealed that every three hours, precisely at 3:00, 6:00, 9:00, and 12:00, AM and PM Eastern Standard Time, Insim goes off line for exactly 5 minutes.

So the trick is to plan to do something else during those times. Especially do not try to post anything just prior to those times because you will lose the message that you were composing if you haven't saved it somewhere else.
