I think the Pack is a waste of money.I don't throw my sims B-Day Parties and I lost the propose marriage thing so I can't get the extension pack Celebration Stuff

Wow! That's quite an investment! But it does point out the real value of the Stuff Packs. Usually they aren't much by themselves, but once you turn the fan artists loose on them, wonderful things happen!

Well, I'm enjoying it! Only cost me $14 at the local Best Buy. That's a whole lot less than a full-fledged Sims EP! Also, what do you mean by you "lost the propse marriage thing". Unless you have seriuosly screwed with your core game files that should be impossible. I have gazillions of mods (mostly global & several that tweak the whole "romace" thing) and my Sims are still quite able to be married.

But then again I don't quite understand what you mean by "the purpose marriage thing", so....

It sounds like there might be a behavior-modifying hack that makes it impossible to propose marriage.

A day late and a dollar short, see user title, there actually is a wooden box used for Cuban roast pork called La Caja China. Very close to barbeque and smoking activities. Done spouting outdated useless info now.

oh ya wat I meant was tat I had downloaded some stuff making it so tat my sims can't ask others to go stedy,engagment and marriage but I haven't figured wat the problem is so I disabled the downloads and the thing is working better.OH Oh I have a pig to roast but my um family are eatting it ya hear?LOL

If you have NightLife, there's a file that lists all your hacks. This file is My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Logs\CustomContentObjects.txt. The hacks are all listed at the beginning. If you have any files with long strings of random letters marked as "hacks," those are probably your problem. Using that file as a guide, drag the files (or all the hacks if you like) that you think are causing the problem to your desktop or other safe place outside the The Sims 2 folder. Run the game, enable custom content, quit, run the game. At that point, your game should be acting normally and have custom content without hacks.

You can also use the Hack Conflict Detector from SimWardrobe at http://www.simwardrobe.com which will tell you if you've got more than one hack attempting to affect the same thing.
