Sounds like a subject for a taste test! You're willing to suffer and eat two grilled cheese sandwiches in the interest of science, aren't you?

Just interupting this thread to say that MTS2 has a Grilled Cheese career available for download.

(Yes I have it & yes it's as funny as everyone says! )

Does the Grilled Cheese Career overwrite any of the existing careers? I might have to get it...

I tried installing a custom career once, and that experience has put me off the whole idea. I had to spend a heck of a lot of time repairing the mess it made--time that could have been much better invested in perfecting grilled cheese!

Not any more. Most creators have their own GUID's now, and that helps to prevent overwriting, or so I read in a modding thread at MTS2. But, why am I telling a creator this?
Okay, see Shorty bang his head against a hard thing until Lady M forgives him.

I remember the "Vroom Cat" overwriting the RC car in the base game.
It was funny though, to see a RC black cat jumping around the yard.

Hang on and I'll try to sort out a list of the custom careers I have installed. Should only take a day or two. Yep, if it's a customised, hacked, modded any thing, I'll try it out.
Which is quite possibly why my game does some weird stuff sometimes.

English Cheddar, cracked black pepper to taste, The bread just has to be egg washed like french toast.

I've avoided custom careers for exactly the reason Greg mentioned! There's still at least one career around that's "bad," the Adult Entertainment career.

Why are you telling a creator? Because I didn't know it was fixed, No headbanging needed! I will back everything up before I try it tho.

Ah, once again elevating grilled cheese to its proper status in the culinary world!

Now I'm tempted to see if I can invent Grilled Cheese Parmeseano.

Now that sounds evil.

Dip the sandwich in beaten eggs, a la Monte Cristo sandwiches, then dredge in crispy bread crumbs? Parmesan and tomato sauce on the inside of course!

Hm, do Monte Cristo sandwiches count as pseudo-grilled cheese?

That gets into heavy philosophy of the existentialism of Grilled Cheese. I'd say that Monte Cristo sandwiches are pretty much the ultimate expression of grilled cheese, but purists might insist that this philosophy is a travesty, holding to the dogma that a grilled cheese sandwich that contains ingredients other than cheese, bread, and some kind of fat has been rendered impure and no longer grilled cheese.

No, no, not the dreaded tomato sauce, no. Bailiff
HERETIC, burn the witch. Then we shall have a fair trial.

I'm a teapot, I'm a teapot . tilt.

She hath sullied the honour of grilled cheese. Etcetera, etcetera.

After regaining my composure.

Parmisano? Si par favor.
A la Monte Cristo, but of course.

Salsa di Pompidori? Scussi, ne.

In English,
Parmisan, you bet, Monte Cristo? Yes thank you,
tomato sauce, sorry I've suddenly gone all cold and eew.

Tomato sauce in a Monte Cristo?

That sounds sort of like putting tomato sauce on a hot fudge sundae.

But speaking of grilled cheese...

Georgina Rantoul

... now seriously, how could ya not love her? Not only is she the female version of my self-sim, she knows how to cook grilled cheese!

Come and get it!

And she don't use no bally tomato sauce, neither!

No, tomato sauce in my suggested recipe for Grilled Cheese Parmeseano...

BTW, Georgina, I kind of get, since there's not a popular feminine form of Gregory. But why Rantoul?

Rantoul is the name of a city in Illinois. It used to be Rantoul AFB, but the base doesn't exist any more.

Added: Come to think of it, I think her last name in other cities is Heavenridge, which was one of those silly names generated by one of those silly name generators.

And more: Oh, now I get it!

I think to be authentic Grilled Cheese Parmeseano it ought to have the red sauce on the outside, and of course Parmesean cheese grated on top.
