"Not For Townies" Clothes?

Anyone know if there is a way to have a given outfit (like the Santa Suit) visible/buyable yet not "available" for the Townies to be generated in?

I know how to hid things out right, just wondering if there was a way I could use stuff that I don't want the game to have unlimited access to!

You could take your hiders out when your Sims are getting/buying the Santa Suit, etc., and put them back in when Townies are likely to be generated. Not a perfect (and possibly not very good either) solution, but it might work...

I'm thinking that maybe if you can find a tutorial on how to make outfits available for townies and do the reverse, that would work. If it's Maxis stuff, you'd need to extract the outfits from the Maxis .package files and save them as a new file. You could probably edit them directly, but that prospect terrifies me.

Zirconia already knows how to make blockers, it's the same concept...
