I had to uninstall then install back my sim games

.I backed-up the game.So how do I make my backup work the game like before?(Because I know people want more of my story but if I don't know i'll have to start off fresh)

If you backed up with SimPE, you just run SimPE again, go into the Neighborhood Browser, then into the Backup Manager.

i usually just manually replace the folders. of course whatever was crashing your game will have to be identified and removed otherwise you can expect the same result as last time.

Yeah, what Keno said. All SimPE does is move files and folders around, and you can do that manually. Just drag the backup copy of a neighborhood's N00X folder over the version you want to replace.

I like to use WinRAR... just right click the Neighborhoods folder and Compress...

Yeah, WinRar is my favorite way to go!

I do use the SimPE backup button too- just to be safe- but all it really seems to do is copy everything to a SimPE Backups folder, which I am forever having to remember not to install my new downloads in!

I just recently got an 80GB portable drive (my F drive) that is my offical repository for all my (zipped) Hood copies & every file I have ever installed, just in case...
