Default Squinge's Hula Mod

Hi... I used to use the wonderful hack made by Squinge to set up poses for my stories... now when i try to download it again (after yet another reinstall) the links that point to it tell me I don't have permission to view this page...
Does anyone have an up to date link to it that works? I suspect the page has been moved... and does it work safely with Seasons?

Cheers.

Weird. I just got it a week or so ago, now I don't even see Squinge's section on InSim... PM me if you still need it.

Although I don't think it's been updated, it seems to be Seasons-safe, just missing any new animations.

I think Squinge's hacks moved to a general hacks-and-mods section of Insim. Trying looking there.

I just read today that he asked Kathy to take all his stuff down.

Did he say whether he was going to put it somewhere else?

Ok, I guess Kathy just moved them to the general Adult mods catagory...

A few of his adult hacks are there but I don't see "Hula and More." It was on the main Insimenator site.

I'm afraid most of Squinge's stuff is now only available via http://files.sims2graveyard.com/squinge/

Probably got tired of the whining, infighting and backstabbing so prevalent within the Sims2 community these days. That and perhaps the boat load of requests every day.

We could only speculate. The only real data I've seen about that so far is a note that Squinge posted on Inteen saying that Insim had become too political. I don't know what politicalness he was complaining about, though. The only politics on all of Insim are notes in Beosboxboy's section of Insimadult and sometimes notes posted in the Animal Army; and those sections are very easily avoided.

I think it's more behind the scenes politics, just from general comments elsewhere. Seems some folks aren't too happy about a few recent policy changes, nothing major but basically a bit of bitching and griping. It wears on your nerves after a bit.

Golly. The only visible changes at Insim since I first started going there are the advertising banners, the color of the main board, and the addition of the preview images in the download sections. They tried inline advertising but quickly stopped it. None of that seems worthy of much drama; certainly not something that would drive me to close a whole section of the board.

I would guess that it might be that someone is in a snit because someone didn't get someone's way. I've experienced that many times, where we have someone who wants to dictate new policies for the board and keeps raising a stink about it. Dominance games, y'know; all you can do is show 'em the door.

There have been some changes concerning what you can advertise in your signature depending on the content of your particular site and such. Like I said, nothing major. But, as you said, dominance games are part of the issue and people's taking things personally that weren't meant to be.

I completely agree about it not being anything to close a section down over.

In any case, I have no idea that has anything to do with Squinge's decision. I've just heard minor griping elsewhere.

This is meant to be a suppliment to Hula (I think), but it looks interesting: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=244917&c=1

I've downloaded that and used it a bit, and it works rather well for still poses. You can get more realistic poses for conversations in storytelling too, I would imagine. I'm also pretty enamored of the reset feature, since we all know how animations and poses love to stick from time to time.
