![]() From what I can tell from poking around in Wikipedia, it looks like the borders were pretty fluid then, with a lot of influency by the Russians and Turks. ![]() I'm beginning to understand how people were able to make huge fortunes just by trading currencies that were out of balance. I suspect that such opportunities are rare in the days of computers, though. It would be too easy to write a computer program that constantly monitors exchange rates, looks for imbalances, and automatically does trades. |
