problem with a default BV Lot too
This was a simpler problem than Z's... it simply wouldn't let me edit the land height. It's a BV cottage, with a pond around much of it... I wanted to change the shape of the pond and all went fine till I got to one tile. This tile would NOT let me change its height, to take away the pool, or to build anything above it. I tried the cheat for floorelevation and even that didn't work. There was nothing on the tile, except pond water. Wound up bulldozing... actually my bulldozer was pretty busy yesterday. Even after I knocked down EVERYTHING on the Lot I couldn't access that tile - the thing that finally did it was to use the Level Lot command... of course by that time the rest of the house was gone But surely that has to be something bugged.

The only thing I can think of is that the lot map had that point flagged as having something on it.

I think it must be something like that. Had a similar problem with another but turned out there were some bugs there (Free Time introduces bug hunting as a hobby. I HAD to bring Mortimer back from the dead to try it out, and he ADORES it!) But no bugs on this lot at all.

Have you tried having a sim walk over that spot? Or maybe placing something else on the spot?
