1 man can dig a hole 6 feet by 6 feet by 6 feet deep in 8 hours.
Therefore 2 men working together should be able to dig the same hole in 4 hours.
It takes a ship 12 days to cross an ocean.
Therefore 12 ships should be able to do it in 1 day, because numbers never lie.
