Oh yes. We got started a little late this year but we'll be decorating right up until Christmas. There are always more fun little things you can do.

The person below me is dreaming of a white Christmas.

< hurls snowballs at Greg > We got one! So does your sister in Illinois!

TPBM is expecting a snowstorm today.

homerette 12-19-2008 09:48 PM

Nope, just more rain later tonight and tomorrow and the next day and the next...are we sensing a pattern here?

TPBM prefers rain to snow.

Hokieman 12-20-2008 12:04 AM

Yes I do - the long all day kind - not the downpours we usually get though.

TPBM is hoping it doesn't snow (or rain) anymore this year.

Greg 12-20-2008 12:32 AM

It would be nice if we don't have any snow or ice this year. Houston is no more prepared to deal with it than Las Vegas is, and we have had our share of interesting weather this year, thenkyewveddymuch!

The person below me likes jingle bells.

Miros1 12-20-2008 02:11 AM

Yes, I do.

TPBM likes tapioca pudding.

homerette 12-20-2008 05:17 AM

Had some yesterday, in fact.

TPBM is going to make some tapioca pudding.

Miros1 12-20-2008 08:54 AM

Yep, we ate it all!

TPBM likes some flavoring in their tapioca pudding (chocolate or butterscotch).

Greg 12-20-2008 07:46 PM

As with cheesecake, I'm a manioc purist. :)

The person below me likes plain hamburgers.

homerette 12-21-2008 04:54 AM

As long as they're not dry, I do indeed.

TPBM has eaten at Arby's recently.

Miros1 12-21-2008 03:21 PM

I wish! The nearest one is 30 miles away!

TPBM dislikes "urban renewal."

Miros1 04-25-2015 07:36 PM

The city of Olean, in order to get Federal money to fix the pipes under North Union Street, had to submit this giant beautification plan. Last fall, they did the railroad crossing. Now they're working on the street north of the railroad crossing. Everything is ripped up to some degree for 4 long blocks. I've had to cross the street at the point where North Union bends to the west and Route 16 turns into a highway heading north. There's no construction there!

So yes, I detest "urban renewal," even if we get new sewers and light poles out of it!

TPBM has "urban renewal" going on near his or her residence.
