Keyboards and Pit Vipers
 

A weird thought just crossed my mind: Have you ever wondered what an infrared keyboard would look like to a rattlesnake?

You have a wierd mind....

Be grateful there isn't room for a viper to hide in there. They like dark places.

I thought of it when a little lizard* went running across my desk. I was typing at the time, which was what lead me to wonder what an animal who can see in the infrared would make of it.

*A chameleon, I think. We have amusing fauna down here in the swamp. I took him outside and released him in the safety of the bushes in the back yard. There were grackels about so I wanted to make sure he had a chance to hide.

Awwwwwwww....little lizard! Glad to hear you saved him!

Yup. Little lizards are cool. They look neat, they're fun to watch, and they eat bugs.

Grackels, on the other hand, would be high on my list if it were legal to discharge a shotgun within the city limits.
